In order to apply 1 mm of plaster per square meter, 0.9–1 kg of the completed solution will be required.

Preparing the base.

Dilution methods.

Manual method.

A plastic container is filled with dry concentrate, clean water, and a thorough mixing is done. You can use an electric drill with a special attachment or a construction mixer to achieve consistency. It takes the solution about five minutes to mature before it can be mixed again. The resultant base is operational.

Mechanical method.

You’ll need a special pump (mortar mixer) to dilute the solution. As directed, connect the electricity and water. There is control over the amount of supplied water that reaches the deposit. It is possible to load dry concentrate straight from a bag, a silo, a bunker, or a pneumatic transport system.

"Starateli" gypsum plaster typically costs between 280 and 310 rubles per kg. The volume of the mixture batch that was purchased and the supplier’s pricing strategy will determine the final cost.

Use the following formula to determine how much dry concentrate is needed in bags: 10 (per 1 sq. m. thickness of 10 mm) * number of squares * coating thickness / 30 kg. You receive how many bags of the mixture there are.

You can only estimate the approximate number of bags needed using this formula. It is just not possible to figure out exactly how much.
